**Job Description**
Leads/manages a team of specialists in the development/design/delivery of effective talent acquisition and diversity strategies and programs for a portfolio and/ or specialized function and acts as a subject matter expert in own area of expertise.
**Job Requirements**
Provide people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required
Oversee and lead a large and/or highly complex, and diverse function for an area of significant risk, complexity or scope
Strategic partner to leadership team on the management of the portfolio, with deep industry, external / internal, enterprise knowledge, recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and; identifying operational efficiencies and opportunities with other areas
Facilitate key discussions and provide thought leadership to executive audience (output may include roadmap and/or deliverables/ frameworks/ short to long term goals etc.)
Set operational team direction and collaborate with others to execute on common goals
Focus on longer-range planning for functional area (e.g. 12 months or greater)
**Qualifications**
Undergraduate degree
Graduate degree is an asset
10+ years related experience
4+ years managing multiple exempt level Employees
Ability to create a sustainable recruitment strategy, and manage a team to execute the strategy in a matrix organization with limited direction
Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to diagnose and solve for complex staffing, business, financial and organizational issues
Strong interpersonal and judgment skills in influencing outcomes, developing candidates, and guiding senior management
Prior experience executing strategic plans and gaining operational support and implementation
Strong leadership, business acumen and ability to build and maintain relationships
Highly developed influencing skills
Vision and political savvy to negotiate agreements among occasionally competing interests, while enhancing the common goal
Detailed knowledge of interviewing and assessment formats and processes; excellent interviewing/assessment skills
Knowledge of employment law, EEO/Affirmative Action, and OFCCP compliance guidelines
Proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point
