Families and Community Together (FACT) is a private, non-profit Care Management organization (CMO) funded by the New Jersey Department of Children and Families. FACT offers wrap-around, community-based services to families who have children with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and mental health needs within Union County New Jersey. FACT works with families to get the services they need to keep their children at home, in school and in the community.
The Executive Director (ED) is responsible and accountable for the overall operations and management of FACT. The ED position is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced professional with excellent interpersonal skills, to lead and direct the organization in a manner that supports FACT’s mission and purpose as defined by the Board of Directors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Governance
* Working closely with the Board of Directors (BOD), the ED is responsible for promoting and imbedding strategies that help attain agency goals and embrace FACT’s mission and core values.
* Ensuring good stewardship by providing timely and accurate information to the BOD, keeping them informed of conditions, operations and important factors real and potential that influence the organization.
* Provide leadership and professional guidance to the staff at FACT.
* Fiscal management and maintenance of the organizations positive financial position/budget.
* Strategic planning and direction, ensuring FACT can successfully fulfill its mission into the future.
* Enhancement of FACT's image by being active and visible within the community and representing FACT at various committees and in meetings.
* Effective administration of FACT's daily operations.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current external standards in order to ensure contract and Medicaid compliance.
* Providing on-going leadership and guidance to staff on the goals and objective of the CMO.
* Providing on-going guidance and recommendations to the Board on matters such as long range strategic and operational planning for FACT.
* Ensuring compliance with HIPPA Privacy practices and confidentiality of enrollees’ protected health information.

Qualifications:
* Master’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration or related field.
* A minimum of seven years senior leadership experience in a non-profit to children, adolescents, young adults and their families or similar services. The ED must be familiar with the NJ Children’s System of Care, Care Management Organizations, wraparound services, child welfare, juvenile justice, and special education.
* Demonstrated experience developing and implementing services and programs within the context of a sustainable business model.
* Experience in behavioral healthcare including those with mental health, substance abuse, or intellectual and developmental disabilities.
* Experience managing $3M+ budget.
