**Department Overview**
The Talent organization is the global function within Corporate HR, responsible for enterprise talent strategy including Talent Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Acquisition, Inclusion & Diversity and Learning & Development. The Event Coordinator role has an enterprise mandate.
**Job Description**
Reporting directly to the Manager of Events, the event coordinator is responsible for the
execution of delegated tasks as assigned by the event lead to meet the objectives of events within the pillar of Executive, High Potential and People Leadership programs.
**Job Requirements**
Management of registration process
Venue/vendor sourcing, contracting and negotiations based on specified budgets
Reporting data leading up to event and post event (registration and completion reports, no show and cancellation reporting)
Researching to maximize participant experience, improve efficiency and solidify the brand.
As assigned by event manager manage daily expenses and provide summary tracking of same as set by sponsor
Timely and accurate processing of invoices and follow-up on any discrepancies
Participate in project team meetings as required by the event manager and act as a primary delegate to event manager
Provide onsite support for Talent Management events to assist with room set up, registration desk and other onsite support responsibilities
Ability to work closely with Talent Partners, HR Partners, various TD business partners external vendors, internal and external event councils
Work collaboratively on multiple events at the same time, with several different team members. Demonstrate the ability to communicate well and share responsibilities with
co-workers
**Qualifications**
Associate s degree and/or Bachelor s degree
2-4 years experience required
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent computer literacy and proficiency in common PC applications
Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and personal information
Ability to provide consistent support prioritizing tasks based on departmental priorities
Strong knowledge of effective customer service techniques
