Please join Deb on Sunday, January 28 from 12pm-1:30pm for the monthly restorative yoga class at Sand Hills Community Wellness Center (57 Sand Hills Rd., Kendall Park, 08824). The Wellness Center is conveniently located on Sand Hills Road off Route 1 or Route 27. There is ample parking and the spacious yoga room has plenty of props. There is no need to register in advance and the cost is $20 (cash or check). Everyone is welcome in this class-no yoga experience is required.

If you do have your own mat & eye pillow please bring them. You may also wish to bring a hand towel to use as an eye or prop cover. Wear nonrestrictive clothing & socks-dressing in layers is suggested for maintaining warmth during the practice.

“Without a doubt, the need for Restorative Yoga is great in today’s exhausted and time-pressured world. There are countless studies showing the ill effects of stress on the mind, body and spirit of human beings. We all need to disconnect, to settle into ourselves, and to rest in silence. Not only does this practice have the immediate effect of creating a calmer, more present mind, it also has marked physical and psychological benefits like lowering blood pressure and elevating and stabilizing mood.”
Judith Hanson Lasater, Ph.D., P.T., is a founder of the Iyengar Yoga Institute in San Francisco, CA, as well as of Yoga Journal magazine and has been teaching yoga since 1971. Her most recent book is “Restore and Rebalance: Yoga for Deep Relaxation”.

We hope to see you in class! Please don’t hesitate to contact Deb with any questions at or 732-586-8620.
