At Fusion, we are a non:traditional private school that personalizes and customizes teaching methods and curriculum for middle and high school students. :Experience as a School Head (secondary preferred) or Learning Center Director managing a team a plus.

Position Summary
The Head of School serves as the leader and manager of the Fusion Academy campus. The HOS will assist with the school launch as necessary, ongoing activities and student recruitment, and is directly responsible and accountable for ensuring the fulfillment of educational goals and outcomes of the school. We are seeking positive, confident, entrepreneurial and energetic self:starters to lead this Fusion Academy location.
Qualifications and Experience
:3 to 5 years demonstrated successful classroom teaching experience and a deep respect for teaching and learning
:Experience with alternative or non:traditional education systems
:Excellent education and/or exceptional credentials and/or commensurate experience. Masters Degree preferably in Education : Ideal: Doctorate, Ph. D or Ed.D
:3 years of Administrative School Leadership or Curricular Leadership experience as part of 3 to 10 years of experience in the educational industry encompassing various roles and responsibilities.
:Experience dealing directly with parents, ideally have been involved with admissions and intake of new families
:Experience with and a passion for, delivering standards:based education to students with learning differences, including social and emotional differences.
:A plus, experience working in learning center environments
:Administrative or teaching experience with high school aged students desired
:A passionate belief that students achieve the highest academic standards when there are appropriate school process and procedures.
Management and Leadership
:Managerial, program development and leadership experience in an educational school setting
:People management experience, including:
:Ability to recruit and lead a professional staff
:Experience with providing professional development and mentoring
:Drive the overall success and best represent Fusion core values resulting in recognition of their staff
:Visionary leadership that can articulate the value of Fusion
:Focus on collaboration, with agility in balancing varying points of view in the process of decision making
:Accept ownership and take responsibility for achieving specific metrics of success
Business Management
:Experience managing a budget, financial reporting and tracking specific metric performance
:A demonstrated track record of success, career progression and increased responsibilities
:A plus : prior business management experience that would present adept business acumen

:Persuasive communications skills, with a strong customer focus
:Ability to quickly build relationships
