Learn more at Large Healthcare Management Company in Southern New Jersey is seeking experienced, innovative, knowledgeable, results, and service oriented technical or clinical person to work in this fast paced Health Care IT Industry. This position will report to the Director of Applications in the IT Department. Ideal candidate would have over a year of Helpdesk or EMR Support experience. Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction with clientsAnswer calls from clients regarding EMR software issuesRecord phone calls in ticket systemEffectively communicate with providers and EMR end usersUnderstand the clinical workflow of the EMR end usersFollow ContinuumA?s Process for Reviewing reports for missing chargesUnderstand the ICD and CPT coding methodologiesTroubleshoot reported software problems and determine course of action for resolutionContribute in tasks and projects as assigned by management as necessary to help in the development of application test strategies and plansWork with teams to improve processes, system performance and look for opportunities to automate processes and gain efficienciesMonitor system activities, identifies issues, resolves problems, and appropriately escalates issues to manager or vendorExperience in the IT industry is a mustExperience with GE Centricity EMR (Logician) or with another EMR system preferredKnowledge of GE Centricity Business a plusCandidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skillsMust be able to communicate well with Physicians and staffKnowledge of clinical workflows preferredSelf:reliant individual with strong multitasking skillsExperience with office operations preferredMust be available for on:call rotation
