The stein hospice at the oscar and ella wilf campus for senior living in somerset, nj is currently seeking a full time special projects/administrative coordinator to join our team. the special projects/administrative coordinator will report directly to the executive director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
this position will serve as the key clinical, administrative and business support for the executive director. coordinator will support the ed in a range of confidential matters, including those related to insurance and third party reimbursement for services provided; medicaid and medicare; compliance, etc. position includes but is not limited to the following duties: financial/billing/reimbursement: interface with in house billing system for matters related to routine and complex billing issues. liaise with nursing home and other institutional partners to resolve complex billing issues. review all hospice cases for accurate billing and reimbursement at the beginning and end of each case, while logging results of these reviews. manages a range of reimbursement, third party, and billing projects, as assigned by ed. regulatory/quality assurance/accreditation: manages a range of quality assurance, and regulatory projects, as assigned by ed. will compile and file application for hospice accreditation.

assists in ensuring that hospice is in compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies. assists in updating/creating policies and procedures in compliance with laws and regulations.
fundraising : possible donor /fundraising projects.

Administrative/office duties:
develops and monitors relationships with third parties, including, but not limited to fiscal intermediaries, insurance companies, vendors, etc. records minutes to relevant meetings. carries out the mission and values of stein hospice. expanded duties as needed by ed. competencies : demonstrates excellent proficiency with microsoft office and health care [emr] software. demonstrates ability to maintain business files in a systematic and orderly fashion. effectively represents agency in a professional manner in all public and campus based activities. manages time effectively to execute all duties as assigned by executive director. acts independently and responsibly to perform job duties on a consistent basis. effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills. excellent telephone, written and technical skills. ability to multitask with strong organizational skills. ability to handle confidential information in a sensitive and appropriate manner. excellent writing skills, including reports to ed on special projects, as assigned. business and administrative support for ed, as needed.

Education and Experience:
bachelor s degree preferred. clinical background such as msw or rn preferred. must have had administrative responsibilities in a healthcare setting. hospice experience preferred we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, and prescription plan, life and longterm disability insurance, 401k, and a generous paid time off package.
