Edgewood Properties is currently seeking candidates interested in the highly visibility, diverse and often hectic role of Corporate Front Desk Receptionist; covering the front desk at our headquarters in Piscataway.

The successful candidate shall have some prior experience as a BUSY front desk receptionist in a large-scale and fast paced corporate environment, where there is almost constant incoming phone calls and significant walk-in traffic. You must be able to bull through the day, always with a smile on your face and a commitment to representing the company in a truly profesional manner.

Excellent customer service, organization and communication skills are a MUST!


Here is a sampling of what you will be doing, daily:

Answer phones for HQ and all overflow calls from remote sites (our residential communities and commercial properties).
Mail: open, date stamp, identify, distribute all USPS, UPS, FedEx mail and packages
Outgoing mail: postage, get mail, print hundreds of priority mail labels monthly, order mail machine supplies, get mail to Post Office at end of day.
Reconcile World Wide (UPS) invoices with air bills: print the air bills that we didn't receive from the sites
Place all business card and stationary orders for all company divisions and departments, as well as all sales and leasing sites
Create air bills for weekly UPS pouches and various employees without access
Place all WB Mason orders for construction, sales offices and HQ -- do follow-up for the orders that are not approved in a timely manner.
Process all office equipment and supply orders for residential sites
Submit PO's for approval: match invoices to approved orders and submit for payment
Check in all office supplies for HQ, restock supply room, and distribute products to staff
Log checks for pick-up
Assist residents and tenants with completing money orders and checks correctly for rent
Print & Track all sign-in sheets at front desk: Daily sign-in, off-site business trips, outside personnel, Daily residential site lists
Manage the front desk and be the first greeter when anyone comes to the office. Emphasize providing excellent customer relationship management.

Years/Type of Experience

2 to 4 years of BUSY Front desk office business experience, offering meet and greet, answering phones and providing customer service to clients.

Required Skills

Excellent organization and communications skills
Must be well-groomed, upbeat, pleasant and customer-service oriented.
Solid MSOffice skills -- Word and Excel
Flexibility to react to rapidly changing priorities.
Ability to keep up in a fast paced environment. Time-management and problem solving skills are critical.

Required Experience

High School Graduate or equivalent.
Two to four years of front desk office business experience, offering meet and greet, answering phones and providing customer service to clients.
